Iv downloaded 2 movies from divx but is there any way i can burn them on my DVD rw Using windows media. Help please PS: I use windows vista!

How come watchtvsitcoms.com or watch-movies.net havent got shut down or somthing?

Well, watch-movies.net did get shut down. But the reason these sites stay up is because they don’t host the movie files themselves. They simply link you to other sites that have the file hosted. Their argument is that they are not responsible for what the public uses that site for.

I’m thinking of getting one, but I’d like to know if this is possible first. The idea is to put full divx movies on my memory card to watch on the phone. I can encode them to fit the screen size if I need to, but I don’t know yet if the phone even supports divx/xvid. So does it? If not, is there another format that will work well?

yes, it can.

It doesn’t support divx but the .mp4 standard. (the same as the iphone and other smartphones)

I know downloading movies online is illegal because of the whole napster thing but I know there is plenty of sites where you can stream movies online and not have to download them. Is it illegal to stream movies online or are there stipulations?

The problem with streaming movies online (even though you are not "downloading" them) is that the movie source has to come from somewhere. The movies that you are streaming have been illegally uploaded to a website host.

To answer your question directly: no, it is not illegal. Those site that are hosting the movies are illegal. You will find that those web links to the movies are not going to be active for very long. There are whole companies dedicated to shutting down web links and websites that have free movie streaming.

i really want to watch movies for free online , but all the website are so ennoying you have to download and do this do that … is there website where you just click your movie , click play and its done ?

There is a website that allows you to watch free movies without having to download them, look at OVGuide, they have a huge selection and I’m sure you’ll find something that you will want to watch.
