How can I get my netflix online movies to play through my PS3 Browser. I tried it and it said I didn’t have the right requirements. It just seems to me that you should be able to do something with it .
This is a hrd problem to deal with.
most likely the netflix movies are in a file type that PS3 wont support. unfortunatly their is no way to gt around tis without a patch from sony to support that file type. the only way would be to download the entire movie using softwar that downloads videos from URL’s and then u cud strream it to the PS3 although this would take a lot of hassle for each movie……sorry but i dnt think this problem is at all solvable

Some flash files or embed files cannot be played on the ps3. Just as some files cannot be played on the PSP (like YouTube). Recently, support for DivX videos was added to the PS3, just wait until support for Netflix comes out.

This won’t work because Netflix movies are encoded to only work for a 24 hr timeframe (or something like that) and you need netflix’s player to play them (special software that would require a PC to run). Also I don’t think Sony will ever come out with a patch to support this as I heard they will be introducing their own movie on demand system, and I’m sure it will be HD and have new releases (unlike Netflix’s limited selection). So I suggest to just wait for that!
